The Hyundai Genesis Sedan is a rear-wheel drive vehicle, capable of 0-60 in the mid 5's. 



The Hyundai Genesis concept coupe - so far as we know here at Cocoa Hyundai, the coupe is still undergoing testing and won't be released this year.  Then again, Hyundai may launch a surprise on all of us!  We'll keep you posted on up and coming changes on this exciting new vehicle at Cocoa Hyundai Melbourne Orlando.

Hyundai Genesis receives Industry Accolades at Detroit Autoshow


Cocoa Hyundai is proud to provide inside information on the new Hyundai Motor's rear-wheel-drive Genesis luxury sedan!   The Hyundai genesis will cost around US$30,000 when it is released in North America this summer.  That is according to Mr. Krafcik, the VP of product development for Hyundai Motor America.     Mr. Krafcik was speaking at the standing room only Genesis showcase at the 2008 Detroit autoshow.    Though he seemed confident in the $30,000 figure for Genesis, he noted that the price for the Hyundai Genesis will be finalized in either March or April of this year.

The Detroit press expressed great enthusiasm for the Hyundai Genesis's strengths, saying that a low priced luxury sedan shows that Hyundai has continued to evolve upscale and will likely continue to shake up the global automotive industry.    Automotive experts and and reporters spoke very highly of the new Hyundai Genesis high level of quality and sophistication. 

Hyundai the worlds Fifth largest auto manufacturer, plans to export more than 20,000 Genesis cars this year.



Hyundai Enters Luxury Battle Guns Blazing with Launch of Genesis

After spending over 500 million dollars in research and development  Hyundai Motor Corporation, the Fifth largest automotive manufacturer worldwide has announced the launch of the all-new Hyundai Genesis.

In the United States, the Hyundai Genesis  car will be offered with a  4.6-liter engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. U.S. sales are set to start in the second half of the year.   

The United States version of the  Hyundai Genesis "will have a starting price of less than $30,000 in the U.S., even as it offers features comparable to $60,000 premium sedans", Hyundai Motor said in a separate statement. 

Hyundai USA has plans to introduce the new Hyundai Genesis at the North American  International Auto Show in Detroit on Jan. 13, 2008.
